[Senator Toby Ann Stavisky, Chair]: And good afternoon. Welcome to the first meeting of the Senate Committee on Higher Education. Today is January 23, it is twelve I'm sorry, twenty third. No, we're gonna say the twentieth. Oh, today's the twentieth, I apologize. I'm a week ahead. Today is Tuesday, January 23, no twentieth, just drove up, it's still on four year time. January 20, my name is Toby Stavisky, I chair the committee on higher ed, and I'd like to welcome everybody. First, from the majority, we have Senator May, and from the minority, we have Senator Griffo, the ranking member, Senator Oberrocker, and Senator Murray. Before I introduce the staff, Senator Griffo, are there any comments you might like to make?
